research tip
Know how your provider intends to deliver before you start.
There’s no shame in asking how you’ll know when what’s being promised has been delivered.  Coming from the provider’s side of things, we get concerned when these types of questions aren’t asked.

Are you going to get a raw dataset or a full report?  Does the report come with interpretation or just number grinds?  Will you have the opportunity to request additional analysis after reviewing the report and if yes, how much?  You should know the answers to these questions before you commit your organization’s money.
